Bud also served on the Walters State Community College Foundation Board and played an active role in fund-raising and development of the Sevier County Campus. He most recently served on the following boards, Gatlinburg Planning Commission, Gatlinburg Public Building Authority, Sevier County Economic Council, Sevier County Public Building Authority, Sevier County Industrial Development Board. Tourism Award for his significant contributions to the promotion, growth and success of tourism in the City of Gatlinburg. Born September 22, 1950, to the late Luther "Coot" and Stella Ogle, Bud was a native Gatlinburg resident and at the early age of eight, began working in the family business while attending Pi Beta Phi Elementary School.

She owned and operated her beauty salon and beauty school for years. For generations, the Atchley family and the staff have strived to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of the families we have had the honor to serve.
